Vijay Parmar

Vijay Parmar has more than 20 years of management experience in the semiconductor, networking and wireless industries, including management of the business group at Intel Corporation that was divested to form GainSpan in 2006. Mr. Parmar held other key management positions at Intel after Intel's acquisition in 2001 of VxTel, a VoIP silicon solution company, where Parmar was vice president of marketing. Earlier he held executive positions at AMD where he played key roles in the company's networking, communications and personal computing businesses, and spent four years as regional marketing manager of AMD's Asia-Pacific microprocessor business.
Lewis Adams
Chief Technology Officer
Lewis Adams leads the technology development for GainSpan's innovative Wi-Fi semiconductor and software solutions. Prior to joining GainSpan, Mr. Adams spent more than 30 years at Intel Corporation, where he was chief technologist for multiple emerging technology initiatives, including cable, DSL, satellite, RFID and 802.11. His efforts resulted in numerous innovations and new businesses for Intel and added to the company's intellectual property portfolio. Mr. Adams holds key patents in networking and communications.
Pankaj Vyas
Vice President, Software & Systems
Director, GainSpan India (Bangalore)
Pankaj Vyas has more than 12 years of engineering and management experience in the networking and software technology industries and particular expertise in routing protocols, IPv6, mobile IP, security protocols and ATM, and he holds several patents in networking. Mr. Vyas led the software and systems engineering team of the business group at Intel that was spun out to form GainSpan. Prior to Intel, Mr. Vyas worked as a senior manager at Cisco Systems, where he successfully built and led engineering efforts for developing and supporting networking products in multiple domains, including ATM, security control, and managed network services.
John Roeser
Vice President, Worldwide Field Sales & Operations
John Roeser leads GainSpan's efforts to capitalize on key customer opportunities and align the company's sales and support organizations with select market segments. He manages the global sales organization and is responsible for sales strategy and operations, customer partnering, and all customer-facing functions. Mr. Roeser has more than 20 years of experience in sales management in the semiconductor industry. Prior to GainSpan Mr. Roeser headed sales teams at LSI Logic and AMD.
Bernard Aboussouan
Vice President, Marketing
Bernard Aboussouan leads GainSpan's marketing and application engineering functions. Before joining GainSpan, Mr. Aboussouan was vice president of marketing and business development at Sequans Communications, where he was instrumental in building the company into the leading WiMAX chipmaker and where he was also in charge of Sequans' expansion in the United States. Prior to Sequans, Mr. Aboussouan was vice president of marketing and business development at BeamReach Networks and earlier in his career, he held senior marketing and engineering positions at Harris Corporation and Nortel Networks.
Haike Dong
Vice President, Operations
Haike Dong leads the company's manufacturing operations. Before joining GainSpan, Dr. Dong served as director of operations for Dust Networks, managing all aspects of manufacturing activities for the company's silicon and board-level products. Prior to Dust Networks, he was director of product and technology of the Consumer Product Group at LSI Logic, where he managed product and test engineering, foundry technology, assembly and packaging, vendor relationships, as well as product quality and reliability efforts. Earlier in his career, Dr. Dong held management and engineering positions at C-Cube Microsystems, Hyundai Electronics, and Sony Semiconductor. Dr. Dong holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego.
